Oscar winner Ariana DeBose takes center stage as a rising star chef in the chilling new horror thriller House of Spoils. This genre-bending film, from the writing-directing duo of Bridget Savage Cole and Danielle Krudy, follows a chef’s descent into chaos.
House of Spoils marks Cole and Krudy’s second feature film together. They previously collaborated on the 2019 dark comedy film Blow the Man Down.
DeBose’s character must contend with the demanding kitchen environment and her self-doubt. But that’s not all. A mysterious presence haunts her and threatens to unravel everything she’s worked so hard for.
House of Spoils is another collaboration between Blumhouse and Amazon MGM Studios, which is part of their partnership. Formed in 2009, this partnership has spawned films such as the 80s-style slasher Totally Killer.
Food stylist extraordinaire Zoe Hegedus, known for her work on Midsommar and Dune, creates a visually stunning culinary experience that will leave you drooling.
