Filmmaker Michael Day makes his feature directorial debut with Clawfoot, a thriller filled with equal parts terror and dark comedy. In the film, a housewife is psychologically terrorized by a manipulative contractor, leading to a twisted battle of wits with deliciously unexpected results.

The film stars Francesca Eastwood, Olivia Culpo, Milo Gibson, Nestor Carbonell, and Oliver Cooper, and it is out now for you to enjoy. I know I did.

Director Michael Day was kind enough to answer a few of my questions during our interview. He talked about the film’s creation, stars, story, and one very bloody tub.

One thing I noticed during our talk was his joy and pride about the movie and his great laugh. He came across as so excited to talk about Clawfoot, which made the interview an absolute pleasure. And he’s right to feel that way. It is a great movie. But you can read more about that in my review. Day is a filmmaker you should watch. The best way to do that is to visit his website.

Watch Clawfoot now VOD and Digital to rent or own. It’s available now on Amazon Prime, Apple TV, and Fandango. Streaming availability will soon follow.
