Get ready for a new adventure! The first images from Jurassic World: Rebirth have been released, giving us a glimpse of the cast in action.

Scarlett Johansson stars as Zora Bennett, a covert operations expert, and Jonathan Bailey plays Dr. Henry Loomis, a paleontologist. Mahershala Ali plays Duncan Kincaid, a character shrouded in mystery.

The images offer tantalizing clues about the story. In the first image, Kincaid (Ali) stands with a lit road flare, paying homage to similar scenes from previous films, like in Jurassic Park when Sam Neill used one to distract a dinosaur and save Jeff Golblum’s Malcolm. We saw a flare used again, this time by Bryce Dallas Howard’s Claire, to lure a dinosaur in Jurassic World.

The second image sees Loomis (Bailey) and Bennett (Johansson) watching something as they hide in the tall grass.

The cast also includes Manuel Garcia-Rulfo (The Lincoln Lawyer), Rupert Friend (Obi-Wan Kenobi), Luna Blaise (“Manifest”), David Iacono (“Dead Boy Detectives”), and Audrina Miranda (“Lopez vs Lopez”).

Jurassic World: Rebirth departs from previous installments in the franchise and introduces an entirely new cast of characters. While no legacy characters return, the film promises to deliver an exciting new take on the beloved franchise.

Rebirth is reportedly set five years after the events of Jurassic World: Dominion. The planet has proven inhospitable to dinosaurs, and those remaining exist in isolated areas, much like those that existed during their time. Three dinosaurs have been discovered to hold the key to a drug that has miraculous life-saving benefits for humankind.

Rebirth is directed by Gareth Edwards, known for Monsters, Godzilla, and Rouge One. David Koepp, who wrote Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park: The Lost World, returned to pen the screenplay. Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley produce, with Steven Spielberg serving as executive producer.

Jurassic World: Rebirth opens in theaters on July 2, 2025. Are you ready for a new adventure of Jurassic proportions?
