A24’s upcoming action-horror thriller Onslaught, directed by Adam Wingard and written by Simon Barrett, who teamed up for You’re Next and A Horrible Way to Die, is assembling an impressive cast.

The latest addition to the star-studded cast is Michael Biehn (The Terminator and Aliens). Reginald VelJohnson (Die Hard) and comedian Eric Wareheim will co-star. These seasoned actors join Drew Starkey, Dan Stevens, and Adria Arjona. UFC Champion Alex “Poatan” Pereira will also star.

While plot details remain under wraps, Onslaught is described as a high-octane, genre-bending film that will push the boundaries of action cinema. Biehn will portray the leader of an elite mercenary group tasked with containing a dangerous threat. At the same time, VelJohnson and Wareheim will play residents of a trailer park community caught in the crossfire.

Arjona will play a mother who must utilize a unique skill set to protect her family from a terrifying force unleashed from a secret military base. Pereira, known for his devastating fighting style, is set to play the menacing villain, The Butcher.

Aaron Ryder and Andrew Swett for Ryder Picture Company (RPC) banner produce alongside A24. Alexander Black for Lyrical Media, Wingard and Jeremy Platt for Breakaway Civilization, and Simon Barrett also produce. Deadline reports that Lyrical’s Jon Rosenberg and Natalie Sellers will serve as executive producers with A24.

With its talented cast and creative team, Onslaught promises to be a thrilling and unforgettable cinematic experience. Production will begin in November in New Mexico.
