The cast for the next installment of the Scream franchise, Scream 7, continues to expand. Deadline is reporting that the latest addition is Asa Germann.
Asa German should look familiar. He recently starred as superpowered Sam Riordan in Prime Video’s mega-hit series “The Boys” and its college spin-off “Gen V.” He joins franchise scream queens Neve Campbell and Courtney Cox. Melissa Barrera (Bed Rest) is also set to return.
Previously announced cast members include Celeste O’Connor (Ghostbusters: Afterlife) and “1883” actress Isabel May, who will play the role of Sidney Prescott’s daughter.
Campbell and Cox aren’t the only ones returning to the franchise. Kevin Williamson, the writer of the original movie, is in the director’s chair for the sequel, which was written by Guy Busick, who co-wrote the original. Project X’s James Vanderbilt, William Shreak, and Paul Neinstein are producing.
Scream 7 will slash its way into theaters nationwide on February 27, 2026. We’ll keep you posted as more news surfaces. In the meantime, watch Scream 6 on Paramount+.
