Plain Pictures has now announced the digital release of the chilling new film Blackwater Lane. This haunting psychological thriller is based on B.A. Paris’ bestselling novel. Jeff Celentano, known for his films The Hill and Breaking Point, is in the director’s chair.
In the film, late one night, a woman drives by a stranded motorist who is later revealed to have been murdered. After a series of terrifying events, the woman believes she is the killer’s next victim. As unsettling events unfold, she begins to question her own sanity and fears for her life. The film delves into themes of paranoia, obsession, and the blurred lines between reality and illusion.
Blackwater Lane stars a talented cast that includes Dermot Mulroney (My Best Friend’s Wedding) and Maggie Grace (Taken). Minka Kelly (The Roommates) plays the lead role of Cass.
