Fans of the series adaptation of the hit game “The Last of Us” have eagerly awaited its return for a second season. As we draw closer to the new season’s premiere, a teaser trailer has been unleashed. It gives us a look at our favorite characters, Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey). We also see chaos break out as a city comes under attack.
Along with the new teaser comes the news that an official premiere date has been set for season two, and you don’t have long to wait. The new series returns for the new season on April 13, 2025.
Both Pascal and Ramsey received Emmy nominations for the first season. Several new cast members are joining the story, including Kailyn Dever (No One Will Save You), who will play Abby, a young woman out for revenge. Emmy Award-winning actor Jeffrey Wright joins as Isaac, a pivotal character from the second game. The cast includes Catherine O’Hara, Kaitlyn Dever, Young Mazino, Isabela Merced, Danny Ramirez, and Ariela Barer.
