Beloved horror host Joe Bob Briggs has officially joined the cast of the upcoming found-footage werewolf film The Fairfield County Four.
Joe Bob Briggs, best known for his long-running “The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs” and his earlier work on “MonsterVision,” has been a cornerstone of the horror community for years. His unique blend of insightful commentary, dry wit, and passion for horror has cemented his status as a cultural icon.
The Fairfield County Four, directed by Joshua Brucker and produced by Horror Dadz Productions, Gray Sky Pictures, and Eye4Eye, tells the chilling tale of four friends who encounter a terrifying presence within the dense woods of Fairfield County, Connecticut.
“For me, I’m always a sucker for a good werewolf film,” Brucker shared. “I’ve always wanted to direct one, so now I get to take a stab at a sub-genre that I have loved since childhood. And the inclusion of Joe Bob Briggs is just the icing on the cake.”
Presented in the immersive found-footage style, the film aims to deliver a suspenseful and unsettling horror experience. The film will star Celeste Blandon, Bryden DiGennaro, Bailey Herrington, and Jake Kopronica alongside Briggs.
The film is currently in pre-production, and a crowdfunding campaign is underway to help bring this project to fruition. Fans can contribute to the film’s development and learn more about the project by visiting the Indiegogo campaign page.
