Lock your doors and dim the lights, horror fans! Shudder is unleashing a torrent of terror this April, celebrating “Halfway to Halloween” with a spine-chilling lineup of original films and classic horrors and the return of everyone’s favorite drive-in host, Joe Bob Briggs.

Shudder Originals: Fresh Frights Await

 

  • 825 FOREST ROAD (April 4):
    • From the mastermind behind the “Hell House LLC” franchise, Stephen Cognetti comes a new tale of terror. Chuck Wilson’s fresh start in Ashland Falls quickly turns nightmarish as he uncovers the town’s dark secret and Helen Foster’s vengeful spirit. He must find the elusive 825 Forest Road before his family falls victim to her wrath.

 

 

  • SHADOW OF GOD (April 11):
    • Father Mason Harper returns to his childhood home only to confront dark secrets and a possessed father. This film explores the blurred lines between good and evil, testing the limits of faith and sanity.

 

 

  • DEAD MAIL (April 18):
    • A seasoned “dead letter” investigator finds himself entangled in a violent mystery when a blood-stained plea for help arrives at his desk. This 1980s-set thriller takes viewers on a suspenseful journey into the unknown.

 

 

  • FRÉWAKA (April 25):
    • From Aislinn Clarke, director of “The Devil’s Doorway,” comes a chilling Irish folk horror tale. A home care worker descends into paranoia and ancient superstitions as she cares for an agoraphobic woman in a remote village.
