Are you ready for some old-school horror fun with a modern twist? Clown in a Cornfield, the highly anticipated adaptation of Adam Cesare’s award-winning novel, is about to bring the scares to a big screen near you! But there’s more! Ahead of its theatrical release on May 9, the filmmakers have a treat for horror fans. The film is having an early nationwide drive-in exclusive for one weekend only!

That’s right, folks! Before the movie slashes its way into theaters, you can watch it at select drive-ins across the country from Friday, May 2, to Saturday, May 3. Participating drive-in chains, including West Wind, Four Brothers, and Galaxy, will showcase the film for this special weekend event. But wait, there’s more! Attendees will receive a limited edition Clown in a Cornfield poster (while supplies last). You can snag your tickets and find participating locations by checking out the film’s dedicated drive-in page.

Clown in a Cornfield has already generated significant buzz and positive reactions, having made its world premiere at this year’s SXSW. The movie also boasts a 93% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. That means you’re in for a killer movie!

A Talented Director and Cast

The film is helmed by the talented Eli Craig Tucker, known for the horror comedy Tucker and Dale vs Evil. Craig wrote the script alongside Carter Blanchard. The cast includes Katie Douglas (“Ginny & Georgia”), Carson MacCormac, and Aaron Abrams (“Hannibal”). They are joined by Will Sasso (The Three Stooges) and Kevin Durand, fresh off his role in Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes.

A Twisted Tale

In the film, Quinn and her father are seeking a fresh start. They have moved to the quiet and idyllic town of Kettle Springs. However, their hopes for a peaceful new life are quickly dashed. Quinn uncovers a deeply fractured community.

As tensions simmer and the locals find themselves at odds, a figure, Frendo, emerges from the town’s cornfields. This menacing clown has a singular and bloody purpose: to cleanse Kettle Springs of its perceived burdens, one victim at a time. Prepare for a terrifying ride that blends small-town secrets with slasher mayhem, all led by Fendo, a clown guaranteed to give you nightmares.

Get your tickets for the drive-in experience now or mark your calendars for the theatrical release on May 9!
