The flesh-hungry fun is officially back in business! Production has just kicked off in Los Angeles, California, for The Return of the Living Dead Universe: Trash’s Revenge! This new chapter in the brain-munching franchise comes just before the 1985 originals’ 40th anniversary. Dragon Studios is pulling out all the stops, reuniting many iconic faces from the original Return of the Living Dead.

We’ve got a special first look straight from the production! Check out Clifton Taylor, known to the wrestling world as Apexx, who’s stepping into the role of Raymond Jefferies. “As a lifelong fan, being involved in Trash’s Revenge is a childhood dream come true,” Clifton enthusiastically shared.

“Becoming a zombie for a horror film set in the ‘Return of the Living Dead’ universe was an unforgettable experience—covered in prosthetics and fake blood, surrounded by passionate actors and a welcoming crew,” Juan exclaimed. “It was an honor to be part of the legacy of one of the best ’80s horror films ever made.”

But the real juicy brain-matter here is the incredible lineup of returning stars! Trash’s Revenge will see the return of original Return of the Living Dead icons Thom Matthews, Beverly Randolph, Linnea Quigley, Miguel Núñez, and  John Philbin! There’s even a special guest appearance by the one and only Don Calfa!  The original film’s composer, Francis Haines, also returns. But that’s not all. John Russo, the co-creator of the groundbreaking Night of the Living Dead and the beloved The Return of the Living Dead, is on board as a co-producer for Trash’s Revenge.

More details surrounding the film should arrive soon. Stay tuned!
