A new teaser trailer and poster just dropped for a film that looks like it’s gonna be filled with thrills, chills, and sheer terror. Get ready for The Sound, which is hitting theaters and VOD this June!

Chills and Thrills

In the film, a group of climbers climbs the “Forbidden Wall,” which has been off-limits for decades. Among them is Sean (Hills), whose grandfather tried to conquer it 63 years prior. However, things didn’t go well. As the team ascends the wall, they come face to face with a seriously malevolent force. What started as a challenging expedition quickly spirals into a desperate and harrowing battle for survival against something truly sinister.

This unique movie packs a punch with a genre-bending mix of thriller, horror, and action, wrapped in an R rating. Brendan Devane writes, directs, and produces this potential nail-biter (he also did The Canyonlands, so he’s no stranger to suspense).

An Expert Cast

The cast includes Marc Hills (Elephant Department), Rachel Finninger (“American Horror Story”), Nicholas Baroudi (The Hating Game), and Jocelyn Hudon (“The Strain”). William Fichtner (Crash, Armageddon) stars along with Christina Kirkman (Trigger Happy), Jolene Kay (Star Trek), and David Clennon (The Thing).

The Sound also features some real-life climbing legends: Hazel Findlay (Reel Rock), Brette Harrington (The Alpinist), Adrian Ballinger (Edge Of The Earth), and even the free-climbing god himself, Alex Honnold (Free Solo). Talk about bringing authenticity to the high-altitude action!

Behind the Scenes

Behind the scenes, James Devane (Sadieland Productions) is on board as executive producer. Ryan Galvan serves as Director of Photography. And get this – the score is by James Iha from The Smashing Pumpkins! How cool is that?
