Get ready for a treat, horror fans! Two absolute icons of the genre, Kane Hodder and Bill Moseley, are teaming up to star in the upcoming horror film Covet. Variety broke the exciting news, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to see these legends on screen together again!

What’s the Story?

Covet sounds like it’s going to be a wild ride. The plot follows a sleazy car salesperson who finds himself framed for the murder of his mistress. As he desperately tries to prove his innocence, he uncovers a shocking truth: the sinister forces behind the frame-up might not even be human! Expect a blend of mystery, terror, and perhaps a touch of the supernatural.

Behind the Scenes

This film marks the sophomore effort from writer-director Brian McQuery, who recently helmed Plea, another genre flick that featured fan-favorite Heather Langenkamp. McQuery knows how to work with horror royalty!

“I’m thrilled to work with Kane in a role crafted to take advantage of both his intimidating presence and sense of humor,” McQuery said in a statement. “And I can not wait to see what Bill Moseley will do with his portrayal of Sheriff Troy.”

Spyder Dobrofsky is producing Covet under his Worlds Apart banner.

Dobrofsky is equally excited about the project, stating, “Icons Kane Hodder and Bill Moseley sharing the screen together, with Brian’s wildly original script, is exactly the type of horror we’ve been looking for at Worlds Apart. We couldn’t be more excited to bring Brian’s vision to life, and give the horror audience the chills, scares, and nostalgia they love so much.”

A Legacy of Terror

Hodder and Moseley are no strangers to sharing the screen. They have collaborated on several projects in the past. Their shared filmography includes The Devil’s Rejects (where Hodder served as stunt coordinator), Death House, Charlie’s Farm, Shed of the Dead, and Old 37. The list also includes Almost Mercy, Hayride to Hell, and the series “Holliston.” Their on-screen chemistry is undeniable, and Covet promises to add another memorable chapter to their joint legacy of terror.
