Terror Films Releasing (TFR) and Iconic Events are teaming up to bring Hell House LLC: Lineage, the highly anticipated fifth installment of the beloved found-footage horror franchise, to theaters this summer! And we’ve got the new promo.

A Return to Abaddon

Hell House LLC: Lineage promises to pull you deeper into the chilling secrets of Abaddon. You’ll see familiar faces from Hell House LLC Origins: The Carmichael Manor, including the Carmichael siblings, Patrick, Catherine, and Margaret. Plus, fan favorites Margot and Rebecca, who met their demise in Carmichael Manor, are making a return! Searra Sawka is back as the documentarian and journalist Alice Harper, and Elizabeth Vermilyea reprises her role as Vanessa Shephard.

Stephen Cognetti, the brilliant mind behind the entire franchise, returns to write and direct this potentially final chapter. The official synopsis hints at a narrative that will explore the decades-long history of murders in Abaddon.

Terrifying Connections and a New Format

The story focuses on Vanessa Shepard, who, after a near-death experience, is haunted by visions and nightmares. She finds herself inexplicably drawn to Abaddon and can’t break free from its grip. When people around her start dying suddenly, she uncovers a terrifying connection between the Abaddon Hotel and the Carmichael Manor. And the mysterious murders that have plagued the town for decades, long before Hell House LLC even existed.

In a bold move for the franchise, Cognetti has opted to shoot Lineage as a traditional narrative film, departing from the signature found-footage style. He explained his decision:

“This is by far the biggest Hell House of the series, so experiencing it in a theater is the best way to consume the final chapter. For the story, scope, and scares I wanted to write in Lineage, found footage was going to be too restrictive to make the film that I wanted to make. I set out to make a Hell House movie like you’ve never seen, and I promise you won’t be disappointed in the change of format.”
