Actress Jocelyn Hudon‘s career has been on fire lately. Not only has she become a series regular on the hit series “Chicago Fire,” but she has also recently starred in the supernatural horror film The Sound, which opens in theaters and lands on VOD on June 27.
I had the opportunity to talk with the bubbly star who let me pick her brain on both the film and the series, which I’m a massive fan of. She also discusses her diverse range of hobbies, including ballet, scuba diving, climbing, and martial arts. Our talk left me questioning if there’s anything this talented actress can’t do.
The Sound
The Sound, from writer-director Brendan Devane, centers on a group of climbers who set out to ascend the perilous “Forbidden Wall,” a notoriously dangerous peak that has been off-limits for decades. Among them is Sean (Marc Hills), whose grandfather tragically attempted to conquer it 63 years prior.
As the team bravely ascends the towering wall, they come face-to-face with a seriously malevolent supernatural force. What started as a challenging expedition quickly spirals into a desperate and harrowing battle for survival against something truly sinister. This unique movie packs a punch with its R-rated, genre-bending mix of thriller, horror, and action.
Hudson didn’t hesitate to dive into the film, the cast, and the challenges she and the rest of the crew encountered.

Chicago Fire
For those unfamiliar with the series, it follows the professional and personal lives of the firefighters, rescue personnel, and paramedics of the Chicago Fire Department at the fictional Firehouse 51 as they risk their lives to save and protect the city of Chicago, Illinois. Hudon plays the role of the bubbly Lizzie, a Paramedic. She seems at home on this action-packed series.
