Osgood Perkins, following films Longlegs and The Monkey, is back with a new tale of terror, Keeper. And it’s set to hit theaters in 2025!
The first teaser has surfaced, depicting multiple women throughout different eras, and in the end, we see each one drenched in blood. There’s only one line of dialogue: “This place isn’t right for me.” While it doesn’t give away any major plot details, it is intriguing.
“I Don’t Like You Anymore”
The poster, unveiled earlier this month, ominously reads, “I don’t like you anymore,” with the title “Keeper” below a man with a blacked-out, blurry face. The caption for the post even resembles a classic children’s rhyme, adding another layer of unsettling mystery.
What We Know So Far
Little is officially known about the film’s plot, which stars Tatiana Maslany and Rossif Sutherland. Nick Lepard is on screenwriting duties, with Chris Ferguson and Jesse Savath producing for Oddfellows Entertainment.
However, a synopsis floating around gives us a terrifying hint: Liz and Malcolm escape for a romantic anniversary weekend at a cabin. When Malcolm suddenly must return to the city, Liz finds herself isolated and in the presence of an unspeakable evil. And the cabin’s horrifying secret is revealed.
A Mystery We Can’t Wait to Uncover
While Keeper remains a bit of a mystery so far, we eagerly await its discovery. Between Perkins’ talent, an impressive cast, and NEON’s track record, we have high hopes for the director’s “dark trip” when it opens in theaters on November 14, 2025.
