It’s official: the cast and crew of “Anne Rice’s Interview With the Vampire” absolutely slayed it at San Diego Comic-Con, dropping some seriously exciting teases for the hotly anticipated third season of the AMC+ series!

Lestat Takes the Stage (Literally!)

Fans got an exclusive, electrifying sneak peek in a new teaser featuring star Sam Reid absolutely owning a stage performance as the vampire Lestat. Get ready for Rockstar Lestat, folks!

New Blood and Fan Favorites Confirmed!

At the scream-filled panel, five new cast members were unveiled:

  • Jennifer Ehle (Lioness) as Gabriella
  • Ella Ballentine (Black Conflux) as Baby Jenks
  • Jeanine Serralles (Apples Never Fall) as Christine Claire
  • Christopher Heyerdahl (Under the Banner of Heaven) as Marius
  • Damien Atkins (Slings & Arrows) as Magnus

Plus, it was confirmed that fan-favorites Delainey Hayles (Claudia) and Assad Zaman (Armand) will be back for Season 3!

A Glimpse into Season 3’s Chaos

The crew even gave everyone a three-minute peek at new footage, featuring a tense chat between Louis and Daniel about the now-published book. There’s a boardroom showdown between Louis and Lestat. And, of course, plenty of blood! What else would you expect?

Talamasca Spin-Off News & Daniel Molloy Crossover!

The panel also spilled some tea on the new spin-off series, “Anne Rice’s Talamasca,” revealing its release date: October 26!

But the biggest shocker? Eric Bogosian, who plays the investigative journalist and author Daniel Molloy (Interview With a Vampire), made a surprise reveal: he’s reprising his role as a guest star in the new show! Cheers and screams erupted in the ballroom when his character appeared on screen in the brand new Talamasca teaser.

“Daniel has dealt with the Talamasca before,” Bogosian told the hyped crowd. “The Talamasca has been living on the edges of Daniel Malloy’s consciousness, and now he’s found out that the Talamasca is pulling him in deeper into their world.” Spooky!

Louis Fans, Don’t Worry!

The crew behind “Interview With the Vampire,” including cast members Sam Reid, Eric Bogosian, and Jacob Anderson, plus executive producer Mark Johnson and showrunner/executive producer Rolin Jones, also addressed fan fears that Season 3’s shift in perspective toward Lestat might mean less Louis, Jacob Anderson reassured everyone, “I can say that Louis is not hugely pleased with the book’s existence, if that is a good tease. I’m here! I’m here.”

Rolin Jones added, “No one should worry at all. There’s way more Louis in our show than there is in the book.” Phew!

Sam Reid on Becoming a Rockstar

Sam Reid, who actually learned the music for the rockstar Lestat before seeing the Season 3 scripts, talked about how it felt to bring all those pieces together.

“It was deeply satisfying, actually, because the songs are incredible pieces alone, but there’s also a show that we shoot, and it’s got a story. There are scenes that exist within the performances, within the actual songs themselves. Layering Rolin’s work on top of [composer Daniel Hart’s] work is quite challenging. They’re very different, but they both have a singular vision. Sometimes I feel like I get caught up in the middle of the whirlwind of the two of them, but I think that works perfectly for a start. He’s all chaos, all the time.”

Get ready for some serious vampire drama (and rock and roll!) when Interview With the Vampire returns in 2026! Sink your fangs into the sneak peek below.
