If you’re already planning your spooky season movie marathon, you’ll want to add this one to your list! Boonie Publishing LLC and Flyling Media Inc. have officially announced the completion of their new independent horror film, The Ritual House, directed by the talented Crystal J. Huang.
The movie is set to be released in October 2025 on major streaming platforms like Roku and Fandango. So mark your calendars, because this is one you won’t want to miss!
The Ritual House follows Donna (Donna Spangler), who inherits her childhood home after her father’s mysterious death. Drowning in debt, she and her best friend Ling (Crystal J. Huang) decide to turn the place into a short-term rental to save it. Sounds simple enough, right? Not so fast.
Soon after guests arrive— Courtney Cables (Lauren Francesca), Butch (Brandon Lill), and Anna (Anna Yousin)—things take a terrifying turn. It turns out the house has a dark, violent past filled with sinister rituals and blood-stained secrets. A malevolent force has awakened, and with no way out, the guests find themselves trapped and hunted by an evil presence within the walls. It’s up to Donna and Ling to confront the nightmare head-on if they want to survive.
The film was written by Donna Spangler, with Xue Zhang as the Executive Producer. It’s a blend of psychological tension and supernatural horror that promises to be a chilling and immersive experience for all horror fans.
Before its release, the film will also be promoted at HorrorCon LA on September 21, where the cast and crew will be meeting fans and sharing an exclusive sneak peek.
