Get ready for a new indie horror that promises to get under your skin! Filming has just wrapped for The Nice Ones, a psychological horror-thriller from writer-director Peter Stylianou. Stylianou, who made waves with  Drained, is back with a new film that he says will “collide intimate paranoia with something vast and uncanny.”

Joelle Rae (The Witcher) and Emrhys Cooper (Nosferatu) star as Kate and Dale, a couple whose romantic countryside getaway takes a terrifying turn. Their relaxing trip with friends spirals into dread after Kate notices strange, mysterious lights in the night sky. As the group’s relationships begin to fray under the tension, a frightening force seeps into the house. Kate must confront her past and an otherworldly threat.

The cast is rounded out by Donna Preston (The Sandman), Ian Whyte (Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire), and Daniela Norman (Tiny Pretty Things). Ayvianna Snow also stars, marking her 70th role. She takes on her first producing role for the film, a co-production between Snow Pictures, RG Films, and Level 33 Entertainment.

Writer-director Peter Stylianou said, “With The Nice Ones, I wanted to collide intimate paranoia with something vast and uncanny. It’s about identity, trust, and what happens when the people closest to you might not be who they seem.”

With its unique blend of personal paranoia and a mysterious, otherworldly threat, The Nice Ones is shaping up to be a horror-thriller worth watching.
