Alright, horror hounds and comedy creeps, buckle up! The first teaser trailer just dropped for Half-O-Ween, a new short film that blends the ultimate post-breakup blues with some truly terrifying neighborhood stalking. If you’ve ever wanted to see a slasher mixed with a cringeworthy sitcom, this is your jam.

Imagine this nightmare scenario: A recently broken-up couple is stuck inside their place. They are already in a deeply uncomfortable situation—when their oh-so-intrusive landlords decide to crash the party. And if that wasn’t enough, an escaped serial killer is lurking around the neighborhood, ready to turn this stormy night into a bloody massacre.

Half-O-Ween is positioning itself as a slasher with a unique comedic edge, promising a blend of laugh-out-loud humor and the kind of brutal, “Halloween”-esque kills that gorehounds live for.

The cast just got a massive upgrade with the addition of horror legend Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp). Rose joins a thrilling mix of familiar and fresh faces.

The film also stars Cam White and features Lestonja Diaz, Tim Robinson (in Part 2 of 10/31), and Sara Gaston (“To Catch a Killer”). Look out for Joe Grisaffi (“Stranger Things”) and Xavier Flores (Doll Factory) as the crazed maniac, Eddie Mangas, himself.

This frightfully fun project is coming to life courtesy of Hawthorne House Films and Barton Ct. Productions. Stephen Wolfe (Doll Factory) is directing, working from a screenplay penned by Mike McPherson (10/31 Part 2). The film is being produced by Tim Robinson and P.J. Starks (New Fears Eve, 13 Slays Till X-Mas).

And for those who appreciate high-quality practical gore, the special effects will be handled by the talented crew at Little Shop of Gore FX (Ryan and Salina Ward)—the same team that delivered the shocking visuals in Terrifier 3. That promise alone means the kills are going to be spectacular.

With production kicking off this summer, keep your eyes peeled for more updates! This movie is one bloody house party you won’t want to miss.
