I just had the pleasure of sitting down with Samantha Hale, a horror comedian. Yes, you read that right, there is a comedian who specializes in horror. When I discovered her stand-up special “Horror Nerd” on Prime Video, I was floored and thrilled, and she didn’t disappoint.
Samantha Hale seamlessly blends horror with life experiences. It’s hilarious. At the same time, it’s incredibly personal as she discusses her family. She finds humor in the darkness, something I can genuinely relate to.
From stories about meeting Kane Hodder, her odd lost words to her father, and Robert Englund almost playing a preacher on Seventh Heaven, it is crystal clear that Hale is indeed a “Horror Nerd.”
