Remember that list we dropped earlier this month about the must-see horror shows of 2026? Well, one of our top picks—MGM+’s hit series From—just got a major heartbeat. After months of radio silence that had fans theorizing in the dark, we finally have an update on the show’s return.

Why the Hype is Real

Let’s be honest: “Mystery Box” shows are hard to pull off. Usually, they either give away the answers too fast or stall until everyone loses interest. But “From?” It’s been masterfully threading the needle since day one. With a near-perfect Rotten Tomatoes score across three seasons, it’s easily the most fascinating horror show on TV right now.

It’s also a massive win for MGM+. The series has officially claimed the crown as the most-viewed show in the network’s history. It’s no wonder lead star Harold Perrineau confirmed the Season 4 renewal just before the Season 3 finale even aired.

Where We Left Off (The Chaos of Season 3)

If you thought things were weird in the beginning, Season 3 took it to a whole new level of “WTF.” We dealt with devastating losses, massive discoveries about the town’s connection to reincarnation, and—most importantly—the first real hint that an escape might actually be possible.

For the uninitiated, the show follows the residents of a nightmare town that traps anyone who drives through it. By day, they try to build a life; by night, they hide from terrifying creatures that come out to play. Season 4 promises to lean into that “renewed hope” the survivors found at the end of last year, even as the town’s mysteries get darker.

The Team Behind the Terror

One reason the show stays so consistently good is the powerhouse creative team. It was created by John Griffin (Crater). Its showrunner is Jeff Pinkner (Lost, Fringe), and Jack Bender (Lost, Game of Thrones) directs.

With that kind of pedigree, the “Lost” vibes make total sense—but “From “definitely has its own much bloodier identity.

The Cast

The massive ensemble cast includes Harold Perrineau (interview) and an ensemble cast that includes Catalina Sandino Moreno (interview), Eion Bailey (interview), Elizabeth Saunders (interview), Scott McCord (interview), Hannah Cheramy, Simon Webster, Ricky He, Chloe Van Landschoot, Corteon Moore, Pegah Ghafoori, David Alpay, Avery Konrad,  and Nathan D. Simmons. Kaelen OhmAngela Moore, A.J. Simmons, Deborah Grover, Robert Joy, and Samantha Brown round out the cast.

Coming Soon

MGM+ is officially slotting “From” Season 4 for a 2026 release. Reportedly, it will come this Spring. While we don’t have the exact day just yet, the fact that it’s coming this year is the best news we’ve heard. While you wait, watch or rewatch the first three seasons now. Here’s a look back at the season three trailer.
