When it comes to entertainment, there is one director’s name everyone should know: Brad Anderson. He’s the heavyweight behind movies like Session 9 and The Machinist. Anderson has directed series like “Peacemaker,” “The Man in the High Castle,” and the chilling, true story-inspired show “Devil in Ohio.” His latest film, Worldbreaker, is set to release this month. And I had the pleasure of talking with him about it.

In Worldbreaker, humanity didn’t just fall; it was ripped apart. A race of vicious monsters known as “The Breakers” has decimated the population. These aren’t just mindless beasts—they infect and twist their victims into something unrecognizable, something deadly.

The film reveals that the men were the first to fall to the infection that the monsters spread. Now, the survival of the species is in the hands of women. The matriarchy has risen, and they are armed to the teeth.

Worldbreaker centers on Willa (Billie Boullet), a young woman caught between two powerful parents: a warrior mother (Milla Jovovich) and a protective father (Luke Evans). However, their private retreat doesn’t last long when a mysterious girl washes ashore. While the movie features monsters, at its heart, it’s a story about a father’s love for his daughter and their relationship.
