Get ready to dim the lights, horror fans—Cinema Epoch just dropped a new chiller that’s all about the ghosts who refuse to stay quiet.

Directed by King Jeff (Shallow Creek Cult), the paranormal thriller The Dead Guy is officially making its streaming debut on TubiTV this March, with more platforms to follow soon.

What’s the Story?

The film follows Justice Brown, a Louisiana medium who is also an FBI agent. Brown has been talking to the dead since he was a kid, so when three female spirits show up claiming they were murdered and buried by a Bar Harbor park ranger, he doesn’t doubt them for a second.

Set against the eerie, foggy backdrop of Bar Harbor, Maine, the movie turns into a high-stakes race. Brown has to find the bodies and nail the killer before the cycle of violence starts all over again.

Why It’s Different

The Dead Guy isn’t trying to be a big-budget spectacle. Instead, it leans into a moody atmosphere. Think shadowy shots and raw, natural locations that make you feel the cold Maine air. There’s also the emotional weight. The “supernatural” elements aren’t treated like a superpower; they’re a heavy responsibility for a man who has spent his life hearing the voices of people the rest of the world ignored.

The Team

Director King Jeff pulls double duty here, also starring as FBI Agent Justice Brown. A solid ensemble, including Gorio, Jimmy D’Aquin, and Dusty Brown, joins him. The film is produced by indie mainstays Gregory Hatanaka and Jamie Grefe.

Tune Into Tubi

The Dead Guy arrives on Tubi’s free streaming service on March 8, 2026. It joins Cinema Epoch’s other new releases, Kat Crime: Tales of the Occult, Dark Place, and Bigfoot Primal Encounter, also streaming on the service.
