The wait is almost over! Dust Bunny, the long-awaited directorial debut from the visionary Bryan Fuller (Hannibal, Pushing Daisies), is officially arriving on 4K Ultra this Spring. Thanks to Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions, you can soon watch this dark fairy tale from the comfort of your couch!
The Plot: A Very Unusual Contract
Leave it to Bryan Fuller to turn a childhood nightmare into a high-stakes action thriller. The story follows Aurora, a fearless 10-year-old convinced that the monster under her bed didn’t just scare her—it ate her entire family.
With nothing left to lose, she does the only logical thing: she hires her neighbor, a hitman, to take the monster out. He’s skeptical and suspects her family was actually caught in the crossfire of a mob hit. However, he’s guilt-tripped into helping, and he joins Aurora on a surreal quest to kill the beast under the bed.
A “Hannibal” Reunion & An All-Star Cast
The casting for this film is nothing short of legendary. Mads Mikkelsen reunites with Fuller to play the hitman, bringing his signature cool to this “monster hunter” role. He’s joined by Sigourney Weaver (Alien). David Dastmalchian (Late Night with the Devil) continues his hot streak. And last, but not least, Rebecca Henderson brings her “Westworld” and The Acolyte talent to the mix.
Why You Can’t Miss It
Critics are already raving about the film’s “wickedly inventive” style. It’s a genre-bending cocktail of childhood wonder, adult terror, and bone-crunching action. If you’ve missed Fuller’s trademark lush visuals and “beautifully macabre” storytelling, this movie was made for you. Watch Dust Bunny now on 4K Ultra on April 28, 2026. There’s more good news: it’s available for pre-order now, and it’s packed with special features!
