If you’ve spent the last six years harboring deep-seated trust issues and shouting “SUS!” at your friends across a digital spaceship, your time has finally come.

Paramount+ completely blindsided the entertainment world at Summer Game Fest in Los Angeles. The series stars Yvette Nicole Brown and Liv Hewson walked out on stage, dropped a brand-new trailer, and casually announced that the entire 10-episode first season of Among Us is available to stream right now.

No marketing campaign. No countdown. Just pure, unadulterated social deception dropped straight onto your TV screen.

The Ultimate Office Drama (In Space)

Created by Owen Dennis (Infinity Train) and animated by the absolute legends at Titmouse (Big Mouth, The Venture Bros.). The series takes the baseline mechanics of the wildly addictive Innersloth game and turns it into a full-blown animated space comedy.

The plot is a direct translation of the multiplayer phenomenon. A group of eccentric, brightly colored crewmates are tasked with hauling literal garbage across the galaxy. However, one of them is a shape-shifting, bloodthirsty Impostor intent on sabotaging the ship and murdering everyone in a brightly lit hallway before they can finish their electrical wiring tasks.

A Mount Rushmore of Voice Actors

To voice a bunch of armless, bean-shaped astronauts, CBS Studios and Innersloth assembled an aggressively stacked voice cast of stars.

Randall Park voices “Red” (Naturally, the default suspect). Yvette Nicole Brown plays “Orange.” The rest of the crew includes Kimiko Glenn as “Cyan,” Liv Hewson as “Black,” and Ashley Johnson as “Purple.” Wayne Knight, Phil LaMarr, Debra Wilson, and Dan Stevens play “Blue.” Elijah Wood and Patton Oswalt round out the cast.

The show is executive-produced by Owen Dennis alongside Innersloth’s own Forest Willard, Marcus Bromander, and Carl Neisser. Titmouse bigwigs Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio, and Ben Kalina are steering the ship.

Remembering the Peak Pandemic Era

The sudden drop is a brilliant play for a franchise that practically defined modern internet culture. At its peak in late 2020, Among Us was a literal global superpower, boasting nearly 500 million monthly active users, racking up over 4 billion views on YouTube, and commanding over 1.22 billion viewing sessions on Twitch. It hit the #1 spot on app stores in dozens of countries, proving that humanity’s favorite pastime is lying directly to the faces of our loved ones.

The entire 10-episode chunk of animated chaos is sitting on Paramount+ waiting for you to binge-watch it immediately. Just remember to keep an eye on whoever is sitting next to you on the couch—they might just be waiting for the lights to go out.
