Paramount+ has officially announced its 2026 Peak Screaming Halloween season lineup. That includes the sixth installment of the terrifyingly hilarious Scary Movie franchise, which is streaming NOW.
Arriving over 13 years after Scary Movie 5 and 26 years after the original, the new film brings back the franchise’s legendary core team. Marlon and Shawn Wayans return as Shorty and Ray Wilkins, alongside the incomparable Anna Faris as Cindy Campbell and Regina Hall as Brenda Meeks, thrusting the beloved group right back into a maskedkiller’s crosshairs.
No Modern Horror Trope Left Unslashed
The original creative minds are back in charge. And the new entry aims for every modern horror evolution that has emerged over the last decade. However, nothing is sacred; every movie is on the chopping block. The gang gleefully slashes through elevated horror, requels, prequels, legacy reboots, and final chapters that never actually end.
The massive cast features returning fan favorites Dave Sheridan, Lochlyn Munro, Cheri Oteri, and Chris Elliott. Newcomers include Kenan Thompson, Kim Wayans, Damon Wayans Jr., and Heidi Gardner.

Directed by Michael Tiddes and written by the Wayans family powerhouse alongside Rick Alvarez, the sixth film proved that audiences were starving for a classic spoof, grossing over $230 million worldwide during its theatrical run earlier this year.
