Maximum Entertainment and Stormind Games have officially announced that Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy. Sadly, it will bring its terrifying saga to a close this fall. The upcoming title marks the definitive conclusion to the acclaimed survival horror trilogy. It will finally unearth the dark origins of the iconic Red Nun and lay bare the overarching mythos at the series’ center.

Players will step into the shoes of Susan. She’s a desperate mother driven by a mysterious recording that rekindles hope that her kidnapped daughter remains alive. Her frantic search drags her to an isolated, crumbling noble mansion hidden high on the slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily, where unimaginable nightmares await.

Global Digital and Physical Launch Timelines

Both the Standard and Digital Deluxe Editions will launch globally across PC and major console platforms on October 27, 2026. For physical collectors, the Physical Deluxe Edition across EMEA regions will launch first on PlayStation 5 on October 27, 2026. The Nintendo Switch 2 physical release on December 3, 2026. Physical editions are scheduled to hit North American retail shelves shortly thereafter.

An All-Star Cast and Icon-Led Musical Score

Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy features an impressive assembly of industry talent to elevate its psychological terror. Legendary Silent Hill composer Akira Yamaoka returns to score the trilogy’s dramatic finale alongside co-composer Aram Shahbazians. BAFTA Games Award winner Cissy Jones voices Susan, while The Game Awards winner Maggie Robertson lends her imposing voice to the titular Red Nun.
