The Team Behind the Terror

Bloody Good Time Films was founded by Charlotte Saunter, who brings a wealth of experience from her time in sales and acquisitions at Banijay and MGM Studios. The company is all about globally marketable genre fare. It will focus on high-concept horror, elevated suspense, and storytelling that pushes boundaries. Their initial lineup includes completed titles and works currently in post-production from emerging and established filmmakers.

Leading the charge, House of Abraham, written by Lukas Hassel and directed by Lisa Belcher. The film stars Natasha Henstridge (Species), the legendary Lin Shaye (Insidious), and Lukas Hassel (The Black Room). It’s produced by Lisa Belcher, Paul Merryman, and Melissa Kirkendall, with Sid Ganis, Vance & Priscilla Hinton as executive producers.

House of Abraham follows a woman desperately looking for an end to her suffering. She checks into the mysterious House of Abraham, which happens to be home to an enigmatic cult that promises a way out. But, as you’d expect, she soon discovers that not all is what it seems, and she must quickly hatch a plan to escape before it’s too late.

Charlotte Saunter, the Founder of Bloody Good Time Films, sums up their mission perfectly: “Genre has always had the power to travel – and right now, horror is leading the charge. We’re excited to represent visually striking films, emotionally resonant, and built for a worldwide audience. Our focus is on stories that hit hard and stay with you.”

It sounds like Bloody Good Time Films is stepping into the genre scene with a clear vision and some truly intriguing projects. We’ll definitely be keeping an eye on what they bring to the table next!
