Prepare for The Other, a chilling new horror film that twists a couple’s dream of starting a family into a nightmare as a supernatural entity stalks a little girl.
In the film, Robin and Daniel finally see their dream come true when they adopt a mute girl, Kathelia. But their joy is short-lived. Eerie events begin to unfold around them, and the child’s behavior grows increasingly unsettling. Their dream quickly devolves into a waking horror as an insidious evil takes hold. Robin and Daniel find themselves forced to fight for their family and survival.
The Talent Behind the Terror
Paul Etheredge directed and wrote The Other. The talented cast includes Olivia Macklin, Dylan McTee, Avangeline Friedlander, and Lily D. Moore. Scream Queen Shawnee Smith, known for her roles in the Saw franchise, also stars.
Jeffrey Reddick, the creator of the Final Destination franchise, produces the film. Lisa Normand, Jeff Walker, and Tim Nagle also serve as producers.
A New Clip
Along with the new trailer comes a new eerie clip titled “You Knew a Monster Once.” In it, a girl tells Kathelia about a real monster that follows her: “It’s already here.”
