The movie follows up-and-coming filmmaker Emily Wyland (Brittany O’Grady), who teams up with cinematographer Danny (E. J. Bonilla) to shoot an intimate documentary. The subject? Her long-awaited reunion with her estranged mother after decades of silence.
However, the emotional reunion turns into a terrifying investigation when her mother suddenly vanishes. Did she succumb to the addictions that initially tore the family apart?
