films Jeffrey Dahmer and Following the success of his public domain horror feature Popeye the Slayer Man, producer Jeff Miller is officially launching a slate of films under a provocative new banner: “Twisted Serial Killer Universe.” This shared world will exploit the morbid fascination with history’s most infamous murderers. The first film recently wrapped. The true crime-inspired films Jeffrey Dollmer and Ted Bunny.
The universe is characterized by its high-concept, darkly comedic approach to real-life horror. It blends real-world body events with supernatural slasher tropes.
Jeffrey Dollmer Wraps Filming
Leading the charge is Jeffrey Dollmer, a low-budget horror film that just wrapped production. The chilling premise takes the notorious legacy of Jeffrey Dahmer (17 known victims) and fuses it with the popular “killer doll” subgenre. The plot follows a group of models on a photo shoot. They soon find themselves stalked and tormented by a doll possessed by the gruesome spirit of the late serial killer.
Miller confirmed the tone in a statement: “Mark Savage and the team and I have had a blast bringing this creepy doll to life. Audiences are in for a treat in this over-the-top killer doll film, which will be a great companion piece to Ted Bunny.”
The cast includes Charlie Trepany, Chey Crieger, Juliana Destefano, and Adam Huss, with Brian Joseph Mange as Jeffrey Dahmer. Adding a seal of genre approval, the film also features a cameo from Jeffrey Reddick, the creator of the Final Destination franchise.
The film was written by John Doolan, based on a story by producer Miller. Mark Savage is in the director’s chair. Millman Productions is handling sales and aims to launch the project at the prestigious European Film Market (EFM) in Berlin.
Horror Royalty Joins Ted Bunny
The universe will continue its dark exploration with Ted Bunny, a film that taps into the infamy of the killer with over 30 victims. While specific plot details on Ted Bunny are being kept tightly under wraps, the production is clearly aiming for genre veterans.
The cast features horror icon Dee Wallace (of E.T. and Cujo fame) alongside Diana Roman, Zanna Wyant, and Brad Satterwhite. Michael Fredianelli directs from a script he co-wrote with Maralynn Adams.
Terror Films is producing Ted Bunny in collaboration with Miller and Adams, with a domestic release targeted for early 2026.
