The Plot: A Secret Worth Dying For
The world has officially tapped out. Following a total environmental collapse, the few who remain spend their days fighting over scraps. But one family has an edge: a hidden, functional well.
The story centers on a young woman (Shailyn Pierre-Dixon) who has spent her life guarding her family’s secret supply of freshwater. When a wounded man stumbles onto their land and uncovers their liquid gold, the family is forced into a deadly moral corner. Mercy could lead to their extinction, but protecting the well might cost them their humanity.
