Get ready for a trip back to the era of neon-lit video stores and VHS nightmares. Terror F’ilms Releasing has joined forces with visionary writer/director Luka Bursac to bring the anthology horror hit Videotheque to global audiences. Described as a “love letter” to American midnight cinema and Slavic folklore, this film is set to be one of the most unique horror releases of 2026.

A Heist Gone Very Wrong

The film’s central narrative follows a small-time thief who, after a botched heist, seeks refuge in a crumbling, abandoned video store. But instead of safety, he finds himself trapped in a dreamlike limbo where the lines between reality and fiction blur. As he waits out the night, he is drawn into three distinct, haunting cautionary tales that reflect the duality of human nature.

A Message from Director Luka Bursac

Bursac describes the project as more than just a collection of scares. It’s a lens into the heart of modern Serbian society:

“Videotheque is an anthology of three distinct cautionary tales, bound together by a fourth thread—a haunting pulse that binds them into one living narrative. I sought to wield genre as a lens to explore contemporary Serbian society—its material desires, fractured classes, fervent beliefs, superstitions, and the enduring bonds of family. It’s a dreamlike dive into a world both familiar and strange, a dark fairy tale about the duality of human nature.”

How and Where to Watch

Mark your calendars! Videotheque officially premieres across multiple platforms on March 20th, 2026. You can watch it on multiple platforms, including Chilling, Scare Network TV, Shocks & Docs, and Watch Movies Now.
