Vivian Miller, serving out her prison term in a work release program, arrives at a run down Cawdor Barn Theater, run by failed Broadway director Lawrence O’Neil (Cary Elwes). Her arrival sets off a terrible chain of events that brings Lawrence’s buried secret to the surface. Vivian unknowingly releases a vengeful spirit when she watches an old VHS tape of one of Lawrence’s productions of MacBeth. Now Vivian, with the help of a a fellow parolee named Roddy, she must solve the mystery of the spirit, before it’s to late.
This paranormal thriller was written and directed by Phil Wurtzel. ‘The Social Network’ actress Shelby Young plays the role of ‘Cawdor’s main character Vivian Miller. Vivian’s companion, Roddy, is played by ‘ZNation’ actor Michael Walsh. Play director, Lawrence O’Neil, is played by Cary Elwes (Saw). Alexandria De Berry (Mission Air), Jordan Burgess (Lucky), Scott T. Whitesell (Tears For My City) and Nancy Lynette Parker (Restitution) also have roles in ‘Cawdor.
‘Cawdor’ will be out on DVD and VOD on September 4th, 2015.
