Bullying is possibly the worse thing to happen to anyone growing up, and sadly it still happens even when we’re adults. What if these events manifest into a living nightmare and the world becomes surreal? This is what happens in Tequila Works’ dark puzzle adventure game GYLT. I want to give a big thank you to Tequila Works for sending me a copy in advance! GYLT follows Sally, a girl who is searching for her missing cousin Emily who everyone seems to have given up on finding except for Sally. While being chased by some bullies, Sally finds herself in a strange version of the world where monsters are stalking in the shadows of her school and the surrounding area, with Emily inside the school! Now onto the game itself! GYLT‘s controls are relatively simple and a tutorial that seems to stick around for a while before the meat and potatoes of the game begin to help cement your understanding

Feardemic has teamed up with Harvester Games to bring their latest dark tale to consoles, Burnhouse Lane. Originally meant to be the sequel to Harvester’s The Cat Lady before becoming its own stand-alone story that will make you smile, cry, and question everything. I want to thank Feardemic and Harvester Games for the chance to review the game that’s well-loved on STEAM. Burnhouse Lane follows Angie, a nurse who is still coping with the loss of her love while having to face her mortality with terminal cancer. Angie get’s assigned to help out an elderly man in the country but as soon as she takes the job, things get dark quickly as she finds herself in a dark and twisted world that she wishes to escape. Now onto the game itself. Burnhouse Lane‘s controls are very straightforward as the game is side-scrolling where at most you have to interact with objects and the scenery, it’s suggested to play the game

Continuing on the journey of entering the world of Table Top RPG, I learned that every good adventurer and Dungeon Master needs a battle map to help build their world (or at least plant the seeds of creativity to make it). The awesome folks over at 1985 Games got you covered with their Dungeon Craft series of products that allows you the player to create your own world for your characters to explore at their own risk! I was sent the Cursed Lands set along with the Turned Earth battle map. First off, the battle map is perfect for the dark foresty world I want to make with one side being full of dark lively grass while on the other side, dead dirt for a land suffering a curse! To add to this map is where the Cursed Lands set comes in, it comes with over 50 pages with terrain pieces you can set up to form the map of

The strategic, real-time, squad-based tactical action game set in the iconic Alien universe Pre-orders are available on all platforms and grant the “Lethe Recon Pack” DLC as a reward! Using a range of tactical abilities, you’ll recruit, level up and command a squad of Colonial Marines as one unit. This time the game is served up with a twist for fans that include an all-new narrative following the story of The Writer, being tortured by her craft. I want to thank Bloober Team for allowing me the opportunity to check out the game, how does this latest installment fair compared to the others? Let’s check it out! Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive have again teamed up to again bring players face-to-face with hoards of enemies with John Carenter’s Toxic Commando, an FPS with the vibe from the 80s with a mix of humor and horror! In John Carenter’s Toxic Commando, the world is plunged into terror after attempts to dig to the Earth’s core unleashes the Sludge God who begins to terraform the planet and turn the living into the mutated undead. The ones responsible for causing this catastrophe, hired the cheapest mercenaries they could find since the good ones are too expensive, the Toxic Comandos. Players can take on the role of one of four Toxic Commandos and team up with friends to rid the world of this otherworldly terror using guns, grenades, special abilities, and melee weapons. Fictional Games made their mark on the gaming world with Amnesia: The Dark Descent which became a massive hit thanks in part due to the neverending trove of youtube videos featuring obnoxious overreactions. When the game finally came to console I will admit I was disappointed in how the hype that was built up to it fell flat on its face as I felt the game was more tense than scary with only one good jumpscare in it. I’ll admit I never got around to playing the sequels (A Machine for Pigs, and Rebirth) so I can’t 100% say how they faired against the first game, but Amnesia: The Bunker, definitely outranks the first! I have to give a big thanks to Fictional Games for the reviewing opportunity! Amnesia: The Bunker follows Henri, a French soldier fighting in the First World War. After being injured on the battlefield, Henri wakes up in a bunker where he’s one of the few
