Wolf Creek Star Facing Sexual Assault Charges

One of the biggest franchises to come out of the outback is Greg McLean’s Wolf Creek which spawned both a sequel and a TV series. Depicted in each are people who find themselves in trouble when hunted by serial killer Mick Taylor, played by John Jarratt. Now, Jarrett finds himself in big trouble. The 66-year-old man has been charged by New South Wales police with sexual assault charges. THR is reporting that Jarratt has been accused of a rape that allegedly took place in 1976. He was served with court papers this past Friday. According to the report, he allegedly raped an 18-year-old woman in September of ’76 at a residence in Eastern Sydney. He was 23 at the time. The accusor spoke with Australian reporter Tracy Spicer in 2017. Skyline Entertainment and Steel House Productions have just announced the release of Tom Nagel‘s The ToyBox, reuniting the team behind 2016’s ClownTown. Nagel’s supernatural thriller follows an ill-fated family on a road trip intended to bring them back together, but the possessed RV they’re traveling in may destroy them all. The ToyBox stars Denise Richards (“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”, Starship Troopers, The World is Not Enough), Mischa Barton (“The O.C.”, The Sixth Sense), Matt Mercer (Beyond the Gates, The Mind’s Eye), Jeff Denton (“NCIS”, “Criminal Minds”), Brian Nagel (Katy Perry’s Roar), Greg Violand (Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice) , Malika Michelle, David H. Devil’s Rejects star Bill Moseley gets all dolled up in drag in the new promo for Girls and Corpses‘ new film Cynthia. Who knew the killer actor had such nice gams? Moseley stars alongside his fellow Devil’s Rejects alum Sid Haig. The cast for Girls and Corpses Presents‘ first film also includes Scout Taylor-Compton (“Halloween”), Robert LaSardo (“Anarchy Parlor”), Rebecca Marshall (“Saw 3D”), and James Karen (“Poltergeist”). Today CBS Films and eOne have announced more cast for the André Øvredal (The Autopsy of Jane Doe, Trollhunter) directed Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. “Walking Dead” Casts “Sons of Anarchy” Star Ryan Hurst

As the season premiere of “The Walking Dead” draws closer we’ve learned that “The Whisperers” are coming. Among them, a new cast member. It has now been announced that “Sons of Anarchy” star Ryan Hurst has joined the cast as “The Whisperers'” biggest, baddest villain, Beta. Beta is the second in command to Alpha who leads the group that puts on walker hides like a onesie. Beta is a major adversary to the survivors in the comics, so we assume it will be the same on the show. Hurst will be the third new cast member for the series who all belong to the group. Suspiria actress Dakota Johnson and Armie Hammer (The Social Network) are starring in Blattodea, now filming in New Orleans. The title and other reports lead us to believe that this film may be about cockroaches (*shudders), the reason? Blattodea is the scientific name for the common cockroach. Netflix is gearing up to give viewers a frightastic Halloween this year. In fact, the streaming giant has just revealed the premiere date for their new genre series “The Haunting of Hill House” as well as the first batch of images. The new adaptation of Shirley Jackson‘s novel Hill House centers on a family in both modern day and in the past as they face ghosts both of their past and the kind that go bump in the night. The new promo for USA’s upcoming “The Purge” series has arrived and celebrates the power of murder and crime to cleanse during the The Purge. Set in an America ruled by a totalitarian government, the show follows several characters living in a small city. During the 12 hour period, each character is forced to discover how far they will go to survive the night. The cast includes Billy Baldwin, Gabrial Chavarria, Jessica Garza, Hannah Anderson, Colin Woodell, Reed Diamond, Lili Simmons, Amanda Warren, and Paulina Gálvez.
