‘Nightmare On Elm Street’ Reboot Still Alive

Back in 2015 we reported that a new Nightmare on Elm Street reboot was in the works. Last August we confirmed that David Leslie Johnson (Orphan, The Conjuring 2) will be penning the script. After that, very little was mentioned about the reboot, until now. When news came that Johnson will writing The Conjuring 3, fans and new sites took to IMDb to learn that Johnson is still attached to the film and that the plot had been “leaked”, or so they were supposed to believe. The reality is that anyone can edit IMDb. The plot is 100% fake, thankfully. It’s a terrible plot. One thing we do know is that sadly, it’s not likely that we will see Robert Englund reprise his role as Freddy. It just won’t be the same without Englund. The faux plot: “When Brandon Higgins begins to appear in other people’s dreams at will, he has no idea that he is the illegitimate son of

AMC Is Going Commercial Free

One of the biggest annoyances is having your favorite series interrupted by commercials and a lot of them. A few months ago Hulu started giving subscribes the options to go commercial free (for a fee of course). Now, you will soon be able to watch The Walking Dead, and any other series on AMC, commercial free. Comcast customers will be able to access AMC Premiere for only $5 extra a month. Not only will customers be able to avoid the commercials, they will be able to watch exclusive content and movies to make the deal even sweeter. It really is a fantastic idea. I only see one problem, when other networks take the same route, and they will eventually, fees will start to pile up. There is also the issue that not all AMC viewers have Comcast. Will you go commercial free with AMC Premiere? Let us know.

‘Johnny Gruesome’ Is Back From The Dead To Raise A Little Hell In The First Trailer For the Film

In May I sat down for an interview with Greg Lamberson about his upcoming film Johnny Gruesome. Now, the first trailer has just arrived for this undead revenge film and we have it here to share with you. Anthony De La Torre, who played the role of young Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, stars as Johnny. Byron Brown II, Aprilann, and Michael DeLorenzo co-star. When I asked Lamberson to describe the film this is what he had to say: Johnny Gruesome is the story of a murdered high school student, sort of a heavy metal rebel. The kids who kill him cover it up, like they often do, and he comes back from the grave as a wise-cracking zombie. It’s a very typical EC Comics type of revenge from the grave story. It was always planned as B movie and that’s exactly what it is.” From the Press Release: Red Hell Movies LLC,
