I had the opportunity to interview writer-director David Ryan Keith about his upcoming paranormal thriller ‘Ghosts of Darkness’. The film, which arrives on Digital HD this March, centers on “two paranormal investigators are unexpectedly thrown together in the hope of solving a 100-year mystery.Locked for three nights in a house with a dark and unsettling past, the two investigators must put their differences to one side and work together. They soon discover the myths and stories are nothing compared to what actually resides within the eerie walls of Richwood Manor. Scepticism and showmanship are soon put to one side when the two investigators realise there is more at stake than just their professional reputation. For once they have stumbled onto the real thing, but this time it’s their own lives at stake.” Horror Fuel: “Not only did you direct Ghosts of Darkness, you also wrote it. What inspired the story?” DRK: “To be honest the motivation for writing a paranormal

When it comes to the theme of each season of ‘American Horror Story’ we usually don’t know details until right before the season premieres. Not this time. The series’ creator Ryan Murphy revealed the theme of season 7 of ‘AHS’ on Wednesday night’s episode of ‘Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen’. Unlike in previous seasons a with seriously creepy story-lines like ‘Asylum’, ‘Freak Show’, and ‘Roanoke’, Murphy revealed to Cohen that this season will get political and will center on the 2016 election. I don’t have a title,” Murphy said. “but the season that we begin filming in June is going to be about the election that we just went through.” Just before Cohen took a question from a caller he asked “Will there be a Trump in it?”. Murphy simply responded “Maybe”. ‘American Horror Story’ has always been about horror. Now that I think about it, a political plot might be right on track. The U.S. is being

News has come this morning via actor Alex Vincent’s Facebook page that the movie has officially wrapped filming in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Yesterday, Vincent made the following statement on Facebook about the franchise and filming: Brad Dourif will return as the long time voice of the possessed doll. Dourif will be joined by his daughter Fiona, who starred in ‘Curse of Chucky’. And what would a Chucky movie be without Jennifer Tilly? Thankfully, she will be reprising her role as Tiffany. Alex Vincent, “Andy” from the original ‘Child’s Play’ film, will be co-starring in ‘Cult of Chucky’ which is set in an asylum. Dourif, Vincent, and Tilly Synopsis: Confined to an asylum for the criminally insane for the past four years, Nica Pierce (Fiona Dourif) is erroneously convinced that she, not Chucky, murdered

‘Colossal‘ is using humor to grab viewer’s attention and it’s working. The latest poster gives the monster a finger, and it’s pretty damn awesome. I won’t lie, I would be more than happy to hang it on my wall. Anne Hathaway is making a departure from her normal roles to star in the giant monster film, written and directed by Nacho Viglondo. Hathaway stars as Gloria, an alcoholic woman whose life is in shambles. She soon discovers that shares a strange connection with a monster who is terrorizing the people of South Korea. Jason Sudeikis, Dan Stevens, Austin Syowell, and Tim Blake Nelson co-star in the film, which comes across like a horror-comedy. ‘Colossal’, which premiered at the 2016 Toronto Film Festival, will arrive in theaters on April 7th, 2017 from Neon.

A week ago we got our first look at season 2 of Netflix’s hit original series ‘Stranger Things’ via a teaser trailer which revealed a glimpse at a giant monster that looks like something out of ‘The Mist’. Now, a new series of images have surfaced. In season two, some people in town are aware of what happened to Will and the kids, others are not. Last season Nancy’s best friend Barb was killed and the girl is having trouble dealing with the loss and feels as if everyone has forgotten about Barb and moved on with their lives. It appears that the world, or at least the town, is now in “The Upside Down” or the least, monsters have escaped it. The lab is still operating and is now run by Dr. Owens (Paul Reiser). The creators assure us that we will see “different kinds of horror.” Season one starred Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Brown, Gaten

The film, a “dystopian love story in a Texas wasteland, is set in a Texas wasteland in a community of cannibals”, has some serious star power including names like Jason Momoa, Keanu Reeves, Jim Carey, Diego Luna, Giovanni Ribisi, and Suki Waterhouse. Earlier this month John Carpenter revealed the director, writers, and release date for the upcoming ‘Halloween’ film. Since the announcement there has been a debate amongst genre fans about how should be cast in the role of Dr. Loomis. Fans already have a man in mind, Freddy Krueger actor Robert Englund. In fact, there is now a petition being shared in hopes of convincing the studio, director David Gordon Green, and co-writer Danny McBride to cast Englund as Michael Myers’ foe. This petition was created to allow fans of the Halloween series a direct say in a very salient part of the next film. In short, we think none other than the original Freddy Krueger himself, Robert Englund, would be the perfect person to play Dr. Samuel Loomis. He has the look, the age, and the of course, the acting skills, to play Michael Myers most dedicated foe. And if Loomis isn’t in plans for the future film, consider him
