Sigourney Weaver Is Back For Alien V

While fans have been following Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant, another film in the franchise has been quietly working away. Neil Blumkamp’s sequel stars Sigourney, who will be reprising her role as Ripley. Michael Biehn is back too, as Corporal Hicks in Alien V. You may be scratching your head, wondering how Weaver’s character will return for the new film. According to Weaver, the film will act as a direct sequel to James Cameron’s 1986 classic. Which means Ripley and Hicks are still alive. It’s just as if the path forks and one direction off to three and four and another direction goes off to Neil’s movie,” Weaver stated.. Alien: Covenant follows a ship bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy. The crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world – whose sole inhabitant is the “synthetic” David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the

Saw VIII: Legacy Begins Filming Soon

For years the Saw franchise churned out film after film up until the release of Saw 3D: The Final Chapter in 2010. It’s been 6 years since we’ve seen a new Saw, but that’s about to change. The franchise’s eighth film, Saw: Legacy, will soon begin production. Earlier this year we learned that Peter Goldfinger and Josh Stolberg had come on board to pen the script for Legacy. New word comes today, via Movieweb, that the film will begin production this September in Toronto, with filming set to run from September 21 to October 21. There have been no cast or a director announced yet. It is unknown at this time if Tobin Bell will be returning to reprise his role as Jigsaw or if someone else’s character will play the man behind the traps. We do know Dan Heffner and Oren Kroules will be producing once again. The two have produced every film of the franchise to date. San

A Review Of The Wave (2016)

Since the day I heard about the Norwegian disaster movie The Wave I have been eagerly awaiting to see it. Last night, I got my chance. Here are my thoughts on The Wave. Don’t worry, there are no major spoilers. The Wave is set in a small village with an amazing view of mountains and bay. Tourists who visit the community may not be aware that a danger is lurking, a landslide triggered a tsunami almost a century ago. Scientist have been watching, they know that at any time it could happen again. When their monitors start registering changes in the mountain they brush it off as a fluke. But one scientist, Kristian (Kristoffer Joner) can’t shake the feeling that a disaster is coming. On the day he and his family are set to leave, the unthinkable happens, and the town’s residents only have 10 minutes to flee. The Wave, written by John Kare Raake and Harald Rosenlow-Eeg, was directed

John Carpenter Insulted The Walking Dead In A Big Way

Writer/director/producer John Carpenter is a true master of horror. He’s a legend with films like Halloween, Escape from New York, They Live, and many others to his credit. Carpenter is known for being blunt when it comes to his opinion. Recently he was featured on the WTF Podcast, hosted by Marc Maron. During the broadcast the two discussed many things, but one comment stood out. It is reference to AMC’s hit zombie series The Walking Dead, which will begin its seventh season this Fall. It seems Mr. Carpenter really dislikes the show, in fact he basically called it a rip-off of George A. Romero’s Night of the Living Dead. [The Walking Dead] was a movie that George Romero made back in 1968. And they have milked that, and they are still milking that.” Romero’s Night of the Living Dead did give life to the modern zombie genre, but the film and series are two different things. Yes, they both have

Trailer Arrives For Sam And Mattie’s Spring Break Zombie Massacre

Sam Suchmann and Mattie Zufelt, two best friends, who teamed up to write and star in their first full length film Spring Break Zombie Massacre. Let’s face it, there are zombie films everywhere you look, but this one is special. Making a film is never easy for a first timer, but when you add in the fact that both Sam and Mattie have Down Syndrome, completing the film is even more impressive. The film, directed by Robert Carnevale, features Sam and Mattie as high school students caught in a zombie outbreak. Zombies are not the only villains in the movie. It also features demons, bionics, and much more. And where would a spring break movie be without wild parties, there are plenty of those in the movie. The project caught the eye of Jersey Shore’s Pauly D, who starred in the film free of charge. Madaline Brumby, Tyler Schnabel, Justine S. Harrison, Johnny Collins, Dante Bonfatti, Alex Hollock, Anthony Hoang,
