The First Image Of Bill Skarsgard As Pennywise Has Surfaced And It’s Pretty Damn Creepy

A few months ago we reported that the IT remake had cast Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise, a part originally played by Tim Curry. A few days ago we speculated what the new Pennywise might look like. Well, we don’t have to wonder any longer. The first real image of Bill Skarsgard in the makeup and red nose has arrived, via Entertainment Weekly. And I have to admit, he looks pretty damn creepy. Andy Muschietti (Mama) will be in the director’s chair for the two-part remake of IT, set to arrive in theaters on September 8, 2017. The first film centers on a group of teens, referred to as “The Losers Club”, who go head-to-head with the entity that takes the shape of Pennywise, a demented clown. The second will involve “The Losers Club” who have come back to town as adults and once again must face Pennywise.

The First Images From Season 7 Of The Walking Dead Will Bring You To Your Knees

The season 6 finale of The Walking Dead ended in a major cliffhanger, with Rick and much of the group on their knees in the mud. Moments before we were introduced to Negan (Jeffery Dean Morgan), a major villain from the comics. In the episode’s final moments Negan subjected the group to a twisted game of “Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Moe” to decide whose head he would bash in. Fans were upset knowing they would have to wait until October to find who his victim is. The Walking Dead is going the extra mile to prevent spoilers from being leaked by filming 11 separate character to deaths. Yes, we know, Glenn dies in the comics, but we don’t know for sure he’d be chosen. It would not be the first time the people at AMC have changed the story to suit the series. Everyone has a theory. But we won’t have to wait much longer to find out. The first image

Saw: Legacy Has Filled The Director’s Chair

Last week we reported that Saw: Legacy will begin filming in September. At the time, the film’s director had not been announced. Today, word has come via Fangoria that the 8th film in the franchise has found its director(s). Australian brothers Michael and Peter Spierig have signed on to fill the director’s chairs. The Spierig brothers directed 2010’s vampire film Daybreakers, starring Ethan Hawke. They are also directing the upcoming film based on The Winchester Mystery House. The film has another brother duo, Josh and Pete Goldfinger (Piranha 3D), penning the script for Legacy. Little else is known about Saw: Legacy at this point, except that James Wan and Leigh Whannell will be returning to produce. For now, Lionsgate is keeping the details surrounding Legacy hush-hush. But we will keep you updated as we learn more. Image Source: Bing, unkown

Mobsters Meet Zombies In ‘Vinnie And Mook Hitmen In Paradise’ By Mitch Hyman – Book Review

Mitch Hyman’s name is one you might recognize. He is the creator and writer of the hilarious Bubba the Redneck Werewolf comic and the great 2014 film by the same name. Hyman is not only a great man, a writer and comic book creator, he is also a talented actor, producer and special effects artist. Mitch’s latest project, a novel titled Vinnie and Mook Hitmen in Paradise has not been long released. I happen to get my hands on a copy. Here’s what I thought. Not far into the novel it’s clear that Hyman has a knack for character development. First thing, we are introduced to Vinnie and Mook, as they dispose of a body at a gator farm. The dialogue between the two old school hitmen comes across like two siblings picking at each other in a snarky, but playful way. The first couple of chapters delve into Vinnie and Mook’s history and their relationship as business partners and

Petition Calls For Government To Finally Declare Halloween A Federal Holiday !

One holiday stands above all others for horror fans, that’s right I’m talking about our beloved Halloween. But even after centuries of celebration (under one name or another), Halloween still doesn’t quite get the respect it deserves. It’s not even a federal holiday, and both you and I know that it deserves that honor and we deserve that day off to prepare and celebrate accordingly. Even if you only look at it from a financial stand point, Halloween brings in a ton of commerce, in 2015 alone, consumers spent around $6.9 billion in the US (according to useconoimy.about.com). Only Christmas brings in more. One fan of the holiday, Richard Doredant, has started a petition in an effort to get the White House to label the day as a federal holiday. If he can get 100,000 signatures by July 25th the White House will be forced to respond. So, to my fellow Halloween lovers I say this, let’s make sure that

Here’s Your Chance To Own A Movie Prop From Rob Zombie’s Halloween

For many horror fans, one thing ranks up there with meeting a film’s cast or director, and that’s owning a piece of movie history, a prop used in an actual film. It’s rare that a fan actually comes across an item from a movie they love. It’s even harder to find a piece that you can actually afford. Most pieces come from action companies like PropStore, which holds both auctions and direct buys. Sometimes, you can find items on Ebay, but those can be hard to authenticate. It isn’t often that directors actually advertise pieces. But that is exactly what rocker/director Rob Zombie is doing this very moment with the masks from his 2007 Halloween film. Remember that scene with Michael Myers in his room in the asylum, with his walls covered in those handmade masks? They’re up for sale! You have 9 days to bid or outright buy them from Zombie. Believe it or not, each unique masks (pictured

Universal Has Found Their Star For The Remake of Frankenstein

Last year Universal tapped Alex Kurtzman and Chris Morgan to begin work on its new shared universe and the remakes of all of its classic horror films. Universal’s The Mummy reboot, starring Tom Cruise and Russell Crowe, will soon wrap filming. And their next reboot, Frankenstein, is now in the early phases of casting. There have been many remakes and reboots of Frankenstein over the years, but the original has never been topped, in my opinion. Let’s hope the new film will do it justice. Variety is reporting that Javier Bardem is now in negotiations to star as Dr, Frankenstein’s monster, a role originally played by Boris Karloff in 1931. Bardem was also offered the role of Dr. Jekyll in the new The Mummy reboot, but passed. There is no word yet if Bardem will also appear in the Bride of Frankenstein, whose star has been named as Angelina Jolie. Bardem is a gifted actor who has starred in many
