We Have Exciting News ! WolfCop 2 Has Wrapped Filming !

One of 2014’s best indie films is a horror-comedy by the name of WolfCop, written and directed by Lowell Dean. Back in December of 2015 we reported that a sequel was in the works. Dean announced earlier this afternoon via Twitter that WolfCop 2 has officially wrapped filming. I caught up with Lowell Dean today. He had the following to say about WolfCop 2. “I had an amazing time on the WolfCop shoot. It was intense and insane, but we has a passionate and talented team both in front of and behind the camera and I can’t wait for the world to see this crazy movie.” In the first film we are introduced to Lou Garou (Leo Fafard), a lazy alcoholic and a poor excuse for a cop, that is until he is transformed into an ass kicking werewolf, with a taste for justice. One night while out on a call to break up a party out in the woods,

The Release Of Amityville: The Awakening Rescheduled For 2017

Earlier today news came via Dread Central that the Weinstein Co. has cancelled the release of Amityville: The Awakening. The film was scheduled for release on April 1st, 2016, but now won’t make into theaters until January 6th, 2017. Amityville: The Awakening has already been delayed, renamed, and recut several times. It was originally scheduled for release back in September of 2014. Supposedly, the reason for the date change, this time, is because the studio does not want to go up against Batman v. Superman in theaters. Jennifer Jason Leigh (The Hateful Eight), Bella Thorne (Blended), Jennifer Morrison (Once Upon a Time), Cameron Monaghan (Shameless), Thomas Mann (Project X) and Robo Cop’s Kurtwood Smith star in Amityville: The Awakening, written and directed by Franck Khalfoun (Maniac) with Jason Blum of Blumhouse Productions serving as producer for the film. The film follows Joan (Jennifer Jason Leigh), a single Mother, and her three children, one who is very ill. They have relocated

Poster Unveiled For HBO’s Upcoming Documentary Beware The Slenderman

We reported back in January that HBO, capitalizing on the current obsession with true crime documentaries like Netflix’s Making a Murderer, would soon release a dark documentary of there own titled Beware the Slenderman. Today, the first poster for the documentary was unveiled. Beware the Slenderman, set to premiere at SXSW on March 11, delves into the legend of Slenderman and the case of Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier, two 12- year-old Wisconsin girls, and their brutal attempted murder of their friend and classmate, another 12-year-old girl. What makes the case so interesting are the girls’ claims that it was an attempt to please Slenderman, a legend created by the Something Awful internet forum. The two girls were convinced that Slenderman was very real and that he would hurt their families if they did not make a human sacrifice to him. On May 31, 2014, after months of planning, the two girls lured the victim into the woods, stabbed her

Arnold Schwarzenegger May Battle The Predator Again

Arnold Schwarzenegger played one of his most iconic roles as “Dutch” in John McTiernan’s 1987 horror/sci-fi classic Predator. The original was the film only of the franchise that Schwarzenegger appeared in, but that may be changing. Word is, Schwarzenegger may be joining the cast for Shane Black’s upcoming sequel, The Predator. Black, who also directed Iron Man 3, is no stranger to the Predator franchise, which spawned several. In fact, Black starred in the 1987 original along side Schwarzenegger. Black played the role of Hawkins, one of the commandos in the film, sent into the jungles of Central America to rescue a group of hostages, only to find themselves hunted by an extraterrestrial warrior. “I haven’t talked with him (Shane Black) yet but I’m going to meet with him for lunch sometime soon.” Schwarzenegger told The Arnold Fans, a Schwarzenegger fan site. “Just as soon as I’m finished with this (Arnold’s Sports Festival) and “The Celebrity Apprentice” and all this
