Geena Davis, the actress who played the role of the newly-departed Barbra in ‘Beetlejuice’, told ETonline that she would love to return for the upcoming sequel Beetlejuice 2. “I did hear that it’s really happening.” Davis continued “No one’s talked to me about it. I would love to! That was one of my favorite movies, too.” Davis did bring up one problem that could keep her character and her character’s husband, played by Alec Baldwin, from reprising their rules. “Ghosts probably don’t age, and it’s going to be 30 years now. Of course, I haven’t aged, but I think Alec Baldwin maybe has ages, perhaps,” she joked. Winona Ryder confirmed last month that a sequel is indeed in the works. Tim Burton, Ryder and Michael Keaton, Beetlejuice himself, have already signed up to return for the project. “It’s Showtime!”

‘The Cabin in the Woods’ has been hailed as one of the most important horror films of the past decade. At the end it appeared the world was coming to an end, or was it? Lionsgate has now approached the original film’s director, Drew Goddard, about doing a sequel. I’m not sure exactly how they would pull it off, but I would be happy to watch it. In an interview with Den of Geek, Goddard revealed part of his discussion with the studio about doing a sequel. “The studio has approached me and they want to do a sequel, funny part is, I don’t think we planned that movie to do a sequel, you know? But that being said, the fun thing about Cabin is, that rules are pretty crazy. We get away with a lot of stuff,” Goddard continued “So, I’me sure we could figure it out if we got inspired to. I know Joss and I both feel

When I first heard that the 1982 classic horror film ‘Poltergeist’ was being remade I was in disbelief. I could not understand (and still don’t) why people insist on remaking classic movies. Last night I finally sat down and watched the remake. The 2015 version of ‘Poltergeist’ was written by David Lindsat-Abaire and directed by Gil Kenan(Monster House). The cast includes Sam Rockwell, Rosemarie DeWitt, Saxon Sharbino, Kyle Catlett, Kennedi Clements, Jared Harris, Jane Adams, Susan Heyward and Nicholas Braun. Sam Rockwell plays the role of Eric Bowen, an unemployed father of three. Rosemarie DeWitt plays Amy Bowen, a writer-housewife who’s children Kendra (Sharbino), Griffin (Catlett) and Madison (Clements). The family have moved into a new home in a large subdivision, not knowing that the home was built on top of a grave yard. There are several things that remake has in common with the original, but it also has several differences. The focus of the original film was a

If you thought the El Rey Network couldn’t get any cooler, you were wrong! The Network, founded by filmmaker Robert Rodriguez, has just announced a handful of new acquisitions, including ‘Almost Human’, ‘The Twilight Zone’, ‘Freddy’s Nightmares’, ‘Human Target’, ‘V: The Series’, ‘Night Visions’ and, hold on to your seats, ‘Constantine’. Both ‘Constantine‘ and ‘Almost Human’ will debut on El Rey this November. The network is in the process of acquiring even more series as we speak. I know fans of ‘Constantine’ are very happy to hear this news. Fans took to social media in droves to vent their disappointment when NBC canceled the series after just one fantastic season. My hope is that El Rey will decide to pick up where NBC left off and continue the series that follows Constantine (Matt Ryan), a wizard/demon hunter. The series was based on the Hellblazer graphic novel by Garth Ennis and Warren Ellis. Constantine was created by Allen Moore and first

This echoes America’s first serial killer, H. H. Homes.”
