Eion Bailey Discusses His Role In Epix’s Upcoming Horror Series “From”

Epix’s upcoming supernatural horror series “From,” will premiere later this month, and take it from me, it’s not to be missed. Ahead of the premiere, I sat down for an interview with Eion Bailey (“Band of Brothers”) who plays Jim Mathews, a father who, along with his wife and children becomes trapped in a town where every night entities emerge from the woods to try and brutally kill the residents. Kelli McNeely: “I’ve seen the first four episodes and love it so far! Out of curiosity, what was your first thought after reading the script?” Eion Bailey: “I have to do this. That was an easy decision. Yeah, it was because I felt like I was just reading a brilliant understanding or take on the world as it is now, the world we find ourselves in through allegory so everything is all the true circumstances we’re all emotionally feeling and the real things that play in the world, but in

One Of The Best Horror Films Of The Year, 'The Cursed', Is Now Out On VOD

Movie Review: ‘The Cursed’ Is A Fresh And Frightening Werewolf Tale

From writer-director Sean Ellis comes the Gothic werewolf horror film The Cursed (aka Eight For Silver). When the trailer debuted it automatically went on my “must-see” list. The trailer looked fantastic, but because we get so few great werewolf films these days I was expecting to be somewhat disappointed. I’m here to tell you, it exceeded my every expectation. The film begins with soldiers in the trenches in 1917, being pelted by gas, grenades, and gunfire. We see a soldier being carried into a tent, wounded with three gunshots. The next scene jumps thirty-five years in the past. A group of gypsies is slaughtered by men out to take their land. Before the last is killed, an old woman utters a curse as she’s buried alive. Soon, everyone in the village begins to have terrible dreams of the slaughter. When a group of children ventures to the spot of the killings occurred, they discover a set of silver teeth. A

Documentary Review: 'The Missing Children' Is A True Crime Story You Need To See

Heartbreaking & Horrific 3-Part True Crime Documentary ‘The Missing Children’ Premiering On Topic

Real-life tragedies are often far more frightening than those in horror films. The documentary The Missing Children explores the tragedies and horrors that occurred at the Irish Tuam Home, where the bodies of 796 babies were discovered buried in a septic tank. Hundreds of children died of neglect or were adopted, often illegally, from the notorious institution run by Bon Secours nuns. “40 years ago, thousands of children were snatched from unwed mothers in Ireland at the behest of the Catholic Church. The remains of 796 of them were found in a septic tank of a Mother and Baby home run by Catholic nuns – many more were trafficked to the US in forced adoptions, and thousands are still unaccounted for. How was this allowed to occur and who is to be held accountable? The Missing Children is an extraordinary true crime story that exposes the Catholic Church’s involvement in the trafficking, neglect, and suspicious deaths of babies born to
