Last month, we shared the first look at Hellboy: The Crooked Man. Today, we have an update: the film now has a UK theatrical premiere date for September. The film, written by comic creator Mike Mignola himself, boasts a new take on the “red right hand.” Jack Kesy steps into the iconic role, following in the footsteps of Ron Perlman and David Harbour. Paramount+ released the official trailer today for the all-new psychological horror thriller Apartment 7A. Set in 1965 New York City, the film tells the story that came before the legendary horror classic Rosemary’s Baby. Apartment 7A will debut at this year’s Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas. This fright-filled film will then be featured in Paramount+ Peak Screaming, a collection of fan-favorite horror movies and Halloween episodes. Directed by the filmmaker behind Relic, Natalie Erika James, the film centers on young dancer Terry Gionoffrio, played by Golden Globe winner Julia Garner (Ozark). The long-awaited movie adaptation of Stephen King‘s beloved horror novel Salem’s Lot is finally coming. Vanity Fair has shared the first batch of images from the movie directed by Gary Dauberman, who is known for his work on IT and The Nun. Dauberman told Variety, “You could do a very dry version of this movie, but that’s just not my personality,” He continued. “It’s trying to ride that wave’s ups and downs. You’re having fun with it, and then you can have a scare, and then you’re having fun again. Hopefully it feels like a complete ride at the end.” King himself took to social media earlier this year to speak out on the delay. “I’ve seen the new SALEM’S LOT and it’s quite good. Today Saber Interactive and Stormind Games have announced the release date for the upcoming horror survival game A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead, which takes place in the cinematic universe of the A Quiet Place films. Along with the news comes information about pre-orders that will give players the hospital care package, digital concept art, and an animation showcase of the creatures. Play as Alex, a young college student suffering from asthma who is trying to survive alongside her boyfriend Martin as the world comes to a silent halt from an otherworldly invasion by creatures who hunt by sound. Alex must go through the ruins of civilization using her wits and ingenuity to observe the environments, and leveraging whatever tools are at her disposal to sneak, hide, and distract the creatures.
