Fede Alvarez Confirms DON’T BREATHE 2 Is Still In The Works

2016’s genre hit Don’t Breathe from Fede Alvarez made one hell of an impression with fans. It was revealed back in December that it would be getting a sequel. It was confirmed this week by Alvarez himself that the sequel is still on and he was kind enough to give a couple of details including that the film will center on Stephen Lang’s character (the blind man). While speaking to IGN Alvarez had this to say: The Challenge obviously is we just don’t want to do the same movie again and just have a 2 in it.” Producer Sam Raimi chimed in with what seems like a real vote of confidence in the story that Alvarez wants to tell next. It’s only the greatest idea for a sequel I’ve ever heard. I’m not kidding.” That comment coming from the guy (Raimi) behind hits like The Evil Dead, Drag Me to Hell, The Gift, and Army of Darkness, says A LOT!

Shore says that the film tells the story of “a vampire hell-bent on teaching an isolated town a thing or two about its treatment of outsiders is a valuable reminder that man is capable of being a real monster.” I love Ronan’s script – heartbreaking, violent and touching all at once.” Shore said. “With influences like High Plaines Drifter, Shane and Let the Right One In, it’s definitely an original in the genre with the potential to be a modern classic.” Mark Huffman will serve as producer for Red River. There is no word yet on the cast.

Danny McBride Reveals More About The New HALLOWEEN Film

A few days ago we reported that Danny McBride and David Gordon Green are making Michael Myers mortal again. Since then, McBride appeared on the Jim Norton & Sam Roberts Show to reveal more details surrounding their upcoming Halloween movie and confirmed that filming is set to begin this fall. It is not a reboot; it’s not gonna be a rehash,” said McBride. “It’s a continuation of Michael Myers – where we’re choosing to continue it from, you’ll have to see when the movie comes out. I’d already seen all these movies, but I’ve really been studying them now and just thinking about all the people that have been hired to make a Michael Myers movie. Just trying to avoid any mistakes that those people might’ve made. The first Halloween is scary as shit. And the second Halloween is scary, but not as scary. And then from there, it isn’t as scary. And I really think that what happens with

Simon Pegg And Nick Frost Teaming Up For New Horror Comedy, Sort Of

Who didn’t love Simon Pegg and Nick Frost in Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz or The World’s End? You may have been wondering if they would ever team up for another horror-comedy. The good news is that they are, sort of. Pegg and Frost have now teamed up to create a brand new film and television company called Stolen Picture, Deadline reports. The first filming being made under the banner is a, you guessed it, horror comedy titled Slaughterhouse Rulez that will be directed by Crispian Mills based on the script that he co-wrote with Henry Fitzherbert and set at an elite boarding school. “Welcome to Slaughterhouse – where boys are girls are groomed for power and greatness and they’re about to meet their match. The story’s hero, Don Wallace, is a wide-eyed new boy from a modest background forced to navigate a baffling new world of arcane rules and rituals, presided by sadistic sixth formers. Everything We Know So Far About CULT OF CHUCKY

While he’s a vicious serial killer, it’s hard not to be fond of Chucky. Luckily, we will soon have a new sequel and I can’t wait to see what that little red-headed, possessed, psychopath will do next. The sequel, which we first reported back in 2014, is titled Cult of Chucky. We’ve been following the film’s development closely and were ecstatic to be able to tell fans that the movie wrapped filming in February. So far, we know that the movie picks up four years after the events of Curse of Chucky. Creator-writer-director Don Mancini has promised that Cult of Chucky will be the bloodiest and goriest film of the entire franchise. That says a lot taking inconsideration the scenes in Seed of Chucky. During a recent interview with CBC, Mancini gave a little more insight into what we can expect from the film. I wrote it with snow in mind. We shot all night outside for one sequence, and

Michael Myers Won’t Be Immortal In The New Halloween

Back in February we reported that Danny McBride and David Gordon Green will be bring Michael Myers back for a new film. The two who are writing the film, with Green directing, have dropped tidbits of information. They have said that they want to return Michael to his former glory in what is being described as a sequel to 1981’s Halloween II. In a recent interview with The Empire Film Podcast, McBride revealed that Michael will not have any supernatural or immortal properties. He will simply be a disturbed man in a mask. I think we’re just trying to strip it down and just take it back to what was so good about the original. It was just very simple and just achieved that level of horror that wasn’t corny. And it wasn’t turning Michael Myers into some supernatural being that couldn’t be killed— that stuff to me isn’t scary. I want to be scared by something that I really

HELLBOY Receives Its Title And A R-Rating

While fans were excited last week to learn the Hellboy would be getting a new R-rated sequel. However, excitement quickly turned to shock when we reported that not only will Guillermo del Toro not be involved, but that Ron Perlman will not be reprising his role as Hellboy. Today, we have an update. The sequel, from director Neil Marshall (The Descent), now has an official working title Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen. In the comic series created by Mike Mignola, who will be writing the script with Andrew Cosby and Christopher Golden, there is a character known as the Queen of Blood, part of the ‘Wild Hunt’ story arc. There is also a possibility of a story that involves vampires who Hellboy clashed with in the comics. Stranger Things actor David Harbour will be playing Hellboy in the sequel. While there is no doubt that he is a talented actor, many might have trouble seeing him as the character.
