This September, a vacation goes very wrong for an unsuspecting family in Speak No Evil. In the new panic-inducing trailer, James McAvoy (Split, Glass) harbors a dark and deadly secret, giving off serious psycho vibes. Mackenzie Davis (Terminator: Dark Fate) and SAG award-winner Scoot McNairy (A Quiet Place Part II) star as a couple who, along with their young daughter Agnes (Alix West Lefler; Riverdale), accept a holiday invitation from their new friends, Paddy (McAvoy), his wife Ciara (Aisling Franciosi; Game of Thrones). Dive into Our Interview with the Director of ‘The Last Breath’

The new shark film The Last Breath will open in theaters on July 26. Ahead of its release, I had the pleasure of talking with the director, Joachim Hedèn, about the edge-of-your-seat thriller. Hedèn is by no means new to the genre. He’s also behind the aquatic thrillers The Dive (2023) and Breaking Surface (2020), meaning he was a fantastic choice to direct the film, whose script was written by Andrew Prendergast and Nick Saltrese. The Last Breath centers on a group of old friends reuniting for a Caribbean vacation. Their idyllic reunion takes a horrifying turn when they explore a sunken World War II battleship. What begins as an adventurous dive quickly becomes a desperate fight for survival. With limited resources, dwindling oxygen, and surrounded by great white sharks, the friends must confront their deepest fears in a race against time to escape their watery tomb. The film stars Alexander Arnold, Kim Spearman, Jack Parr, Erin Mullen, Arlo Carter,
