We reported last week that Eli Craig‘s Tucker and Dale vs Evil will fight evil again. While we wait for a new installment, news has come that Craig has just signed on to direct a new horror comedy, Bride and Doom. Josh Parkinson is co-writing the script with Craig. Craig, who also wrote and directed Netflix’s supernatural comedy Little Evil, has signed on to direct the wedding-themed horror flick from Argent Pictures and Mandalay Pictures. Being described as Cloverfield meets My Big Fat Greek Wedding, the movie centers on a young couple struggling to hold onto their relationship during the worst possible wedding day ever. I’m an unabashed fan of wedding movies, but I think we’re past the point of seeing everything work out in the end. Everything doesn’t always work out, and weddings are sometimes the worst day of people’s lives. So let’s make an honest wedding movie for a change — let’s make it a horror movie!” Eli

A few years back, a young girl witnesses ghoulish goods out in the woods (in her rural home to be more precise). Flash forward to the present day, and a group of New York City goofs decide to ditch the rat race of Metropolis for a tick and haul ass to the family homestead of their pal Nicole (Lindsay Eshelman) located in East Asshair…wait a minute…could that opening sequence have been foreshadowing? Once there they meet the local yokels, who are weird A.F., but things get even more ass over tea-kettle as soon the ol’ stalk n’ slay bag begins as a killer is walkin’ them there woods and soon the blood starts a-flowin’ and the struggle to survive kicks into high gear! Wow, just wow. What can I say about the last episode (8/3) of “Game of Thrones”, which may very well be the most intense episode of a series ever aired? Many of us experienced a gambit of emotions. We were left in awe, heartbroken, and even had a moment of celebration in the end. Let’s talk about it. Please stop reading now if you have not seen it. There are MAJOR spoilers ahead! Let’s go ahead and get the problems with the episode out of the way. It’s simple, there was only one issue I had, the battlefield was too dark to see much of the action. It was a waste. Now that I’ve said that, I must say that I do understand why it was filmed that way. I believe it was done to not only emphasize the soldier’s fear of the unknown and build tension but to also save money on special effects. If that last part is

With Orion gearing up to release their Child’s Play reboot next month, you may be wondering where franchise creator Don Mancini‘s “Chucky” series stands. Last we reported Nick Antosca who created “Channel Zero” had come on board to produce. During a recent talk with Slash Film, Antosca teased that the series will more like the early films of the franchise and less like the Bride of Chucky and Seed of Chucky. The series is going to be closer to the tone of the first two movies in the series,” Antosca stated. “It’s going to go back to a sort of classic scare.” He continued. ““It’s consistent with that mythology, but it’s a whole new story,” Antosca explained. “So you could come into it without knowing anything about the previous stuff and get into it. But it is consistent with all the mythology that has come before, so it is in canon.” Antosca has left the door open for franchise regulars
