Supernatural Horror ‘They Wait In The Dark’ Is Out This February

From the award-winning filmmaker Patrick Rea (Nailbiter, I Am Lisa) comes a new tale of terror, They Wait in the Dark. The film stars Sarah McGuire, Patrick McGee, Laurie Catherine Winkel, Paige Maria, Chris Bylsma, and Meagan Flynn. In They Wait in the Dark, “Amy (McGuire) and her adopted son Adrian (McGee) are on the run from Amy’s abusive ex-girlfriend, Judith (Winkel). Desperate to stay hidden, they take refuge in the abandoned farmhouse of Amy’s family outside her Kansas hometown. Soon, a supernatural force from Amy’s dark past begins haunting Adrian. With the vengeful Judith in pursuit, Amy and Adrian find themselves locked in a showdown between the threats both outside and in. The film, which screened at Fright Fest, Popcorn Frights Film Festival, and HorrorHound, is coming to Digital on February 7, 2023, from 1091.

Part Jewish Horror, Part Romance, Shudder’s ‘Attachment’ Premieres Next week

Next week, Attachment, the feature debut from Denmark-based writer/director Gabriel Bier Gislason, a horror romance steeped in Jewish folklore, is set to make its premiere on Shudder. Maja (Josephine Park, Baby Fever), a Danish has-been actress, falls in love with Leah (Ellie Kendrick, Game of Thrones, An Education), an academic from London. Trailer Debuts For Horror Thriller ‘Impuratus,’ Filmed At Pennhurst Asylum

The trailer for Michael Yurinko’s riveting new horror thriller Impuratus has now been released ahead of its March release date. Tom Sizemore stars as Detective Clayton Douglas, a Homicide Detective Clayton Douglas who is summoned to a remote mental hospital to witness the deathbed confession of a mysterious Civil War soldier. He is quickly met by Dr. Heysinger (Robert Miano), who tells him about the mysterious man in the basement who, oddly enough, asked for the detective by name.
