BLOOD FEAST Receives An Expanded Release And New Date

One of the few, and I mean very few, remakes I’ve looked forward to seeing is director Marcel Walz’s Blood Fest, originally released in 1963 by H.G. Lewis. A distribution deal had been struck and Medallion Releasing was set to release Blood Feast in theaters on April 28, 2017. Instead a new date has been announced. Starring Robert Rusler, Caroline Williams, Sophie Monk, and Sadie Katz, the story centers on Fuad Ramses (Rusler) and his family who have moved from the US to France, where they run a diner. With business not going well, Fuad takes a second job as the night shift at a museum of ancient Egyptian culture. During the long, lonely nights, he finds himself drawn to an ancient statue of the goddess Ishtar (Katz). He becomes more and more drawn to her as she speaks to him in visions. Eventually
